This 911 SC convertible was sold in North Carolina at the Raleigh dealership. It moved to Texas in 1984, then to California in 1991, where it remained until 2017, when it moved to Florida and then to France, where it was shipped in 2018. As the car remained in dry states in the hands of meticulous owners, it is in fantastic condition and has always been well maintained.

The combination of metallic slate blue, blue leather, and blue soft top is rare and goes very well together. The original Fuchs wheels have been thoroughly polished. The car has been fully inspected and will be delivered with service from a major Porsche dealership.

This 911 G series was only produced for one year, heralding future developments for the Porsche 911, namely a convertible body and all-wheel drive. Although the latter only became standard on the third-generation 911 type 964, the 911 SC convertible series was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1982. However, production did not begin until ten months later, in January 1983. In 1984, it became the 911 Carrera 3.2 convertible.

With the 911 SC/Carrera 3.2 convertible, Porsche returned to the fully open body style it had abandoned in 1965 with the discontinuation of the 356 convertible. The first-generation Porsche 911 Targa was also a convertible. But its large roll bar and rear window, which had changed from removable to fixed, made it more of a coupe with a removable roof than a true convertible. This new body gave new life to the 911 G series. This convertible was very popular.
