At the wheel of the 911 Carrera, you realise that it is in a class of its own. The 911 is built to withstand extremes of stress which are rarely encountered on public roads.  Every engine was assembled by hand with meticulous care. The 911’s rear mounted horizontally-opposed 6-cylinder engine puts the weight of the engine on the driven wheels to provide increased traction.  It propels the 911 Carrera to a top speed of well over 170 mph.

Many of its components were originally developed for the racetrack. The 993 has a hydraulic dual circuit braking system with 4-piston aluminium fixed callipers and fifth-generation ABS 5. All brakes are cross drilled, ensuring optimal braking even in wet conditions. The leather sports seats offer superb lateral support and are comfortable enough to take the strain out of long journeys.

This 993 Carrera was supplied new in August 1995 at Lancaster Porsche, Bow.  It has an excellent service history with both Official Porsche Centres and Porsche marque specialists and boasts 20 service stamps. There is a full history file, with past service invoices, historic MOTs, factory build sheet. Also present are the complete original leather book pack and spare keys.  Even the new car invoice is in the file! In arguably the best paint colour for a Porsche 993, this car is a real opportunity for the serious collector.  A 12-month comprehensive written warranty policy is also included.
