The car was delivered on 25-10-1966 and was purchased by the first owner on 5-8-1967. The car was delivered at the time by Porsche Centrum Pacific, Burlingame and the first owner drove around California with the car. This is all visible on the Kardex, which can be sent if interested.
The 911 currently has a Dutch registration and has the beautiful blue Dutch oldtimer license plates.
Recently a lot has been done to the car, for example we have completely tackled the brakes and/or renewed where necessary. Wear parts including the ball joints, track rods and steering balls have also been replaced. The car is also equipped with an electronic ignition. Furthermore, the lights have been converted to European requirements. It runs, drives and brakes well. Simply a beautiful classic to enjoy. Recently passed the inspection with ease.
Body and paint: The body is in a good condition, as can also be seen in the photo. Very solid and no structural rust is visible. The paintwork is also still neat and paint measurements show that the car has indeed been resprayed once, but we measure around 200-300mu, see also the photos in the gallery. The shine of the paint is still good and the car looks good in the paint. In addition, the body has good fitting seams.
Interior: The interior of the car is still in a neat condition. The carpet still looks neat as well as the green instruments. The seat and backrest of the chairs show normal signs of use, but do not contain any tears. The headrest of the passenger seat has a tear on one side, this could be reupholstered for the sake of neatness, we can also organize this in consultation. In general, the interior is in a neat condition with normal signs of use.
Mechanical: mechanically we have done a lot to the car, the engine runs nicely and has electric ignition. The car drives, shifts and brakes properly. In addition, the car has been MOT tested, so fully “roadworthy” according to the Dutch MOT requirements. The complete brakes have been fully checked as well as all wear parts and replaced where necessary.
