Three (3) owners, Southern California Porsche 911SC Cabriolet, the first Cabriolet built since 1965 and the last year the 911SC. One owner for the last 12 years. No 462 is finished in its original color combination of Platinum Metallic with a Fawn interior. Delivered to Don Yacht by Niello Porsche | Audi of Concord, California, on May 11, 1983. Equipment from the factory includes Automatic Speed Control, Wheel Locks, Fog Lamps, California Emissions, and a Cellular Phone.

It has had one repaint, finished in the original color, Platinum Metallic, with excellent gaps and panel fit. It has a VDM steering wheel, VDO instrumentation, a Blaupunkt AM/FM radio, and a set of Coco mats. The Fuchs alloy wheels are fitted to Continental Extreme Contact 205 55 ZR16 fronts and 225 50 ZR16 rear tires. The undercarriage is original, well-preserved, solid, and rust-free.

Mechanically powered by a 3.0 flat-six engine producing 180 hp @ 5,500 rpm and 175 lb/ft torque @ 5,500 rpm with a manual 5-speed transmission (type 915) and a four-wheel disc braking system. In 2012, the current owner had Johnson’s alignment go through the car and do a four-wheel corner balance, replacing all the shocks and tie rod ends.

A new clutch, clutch cable cross fork, and pilot bearing were installed in 2016 at 59,188 miles, and $4,947.88 was spent. Most recently, on March 29, 2024, Modern Specialist, Inc. in Long Beach, California, performed an oil change and replaced the decklid shock. Complete with a tool kit, tire compressor kit, spare wheel, owner’s manual, warranty, and maintenance booklet, Blaupunkt radio manual, clean Carfax, and 12 years of service history. An excellent opportunity to acquire an amazing 911SC in a rare color combination with low mileage.
