The restoration included a complete strip down to bare metal, rust repairs professionally carried out and then full repaint in the original Sepia Brown. Every mechanical and cosmetic component was either replaced, restored, or refinished to factory specification. The original 2.4 litre flat-six engine has been fully rebuilt, retaining its matching numbers, and paired with the correct 5 speed manual gearbox. The car also benefits from all new suspension components, refurbished brakes with new discs and pads, and with all other original parts either re-plated, powder-coated, or refinished back to the original standards.

Amazingly all the glass has survived and is original from 1972, and the original 15″ Fuchs alloy wheels have been professionally refurbished and fitted with premium period correct Pirelli Cinturato tyres. Inside, the cabin has been fully re trimmed, recreating the cars authentic early 1970s feel. The result is a car that not only looks factory fresh but drives beautifully, with tight, precise handling, smooth power delivery, and a wonderfully mechanical feel throughout. It is presented today in top condition, ready to show, drive, or would be a great addition to any Porsche collection.
