Sometimes you just need to be a little less slick. Less “neat,” more emotional. This 1985 Porsche 944 is exactly that: wrong in a way that feels so good. In its full East Indies Red glory this is a car you won’t easily pass by.
The previous owner was a die-hard enthusiast and thoroughly overhauled the car to bring it back to top form. The result: it drives like it did back when the GDR still existed, only better. Playful, direct, light-footed. And yes, simply reliable. 174,000 km on the odometer, but you wouldn’t believe it.
This stunning 944 has undergone some serious work, including a full respray, telly dial wheels with excellent Vredestein tires. A gorgeous looking but also gorgeously up to tade Grundig vintage radio with wireless bluetooth and RDW. The car comes with a recent service, the original roll cover in the back and so much more!
