Unveiled at Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2016, the Endurance Racing Edition of the Carrera S was built to commemorate the brilliant string of three consecutive overall victories by the 919 Hybrid at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, spanning from 2015 to 2017. With only 235 examples constructed by Porsche Exclusive for the marque’s most esteemed customers, the Endurance Racing Edition could be ordered in Black, Red, or White. The option of a subtle “Porsche Intelligent Performance” graphics package encapsulated the spirit of the car and echoed the message appearing on the 919 Hybrid. With its twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre flat six producing 420 horsepower, the Endurance Racing Edition is a tremendous performer, sprinting to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds.
The 911 Carrera S offered here, delivered new to Germany, wears a stunning €65,382-worth of optional extras and displays just 15 kilometers on its odometer at the time of cataloguing. Almost in “as-new” condition, the car is fitted with the multi-function Sport Chrono Package, Porsche Active Suspension Management, Active Rear-Axle Steering, as well as lane change and parking assist features.
The interior includes desirable extras including 14-way adjustable and heated power sport seats, Guards Red seat belts, black leather trim with carbon fibre inlays, illuminated carbon fibre doorsill plates, headrests with embossed Porsche crests, power sunroof, and a Bose surround sound stereo system. Huge disc brakes are enclosed by 20-inch gloss-black Carrera S alloy wheels shod with high performance tyres.
