Launched at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, the 991.1 GT3 RS was equipped with the 4.0 L engine, developing 500hp. For the first time a GT3 was offered with the only PDK, automatic double clutch transmission and the turbo-like rear fenders. Standard equipment includes a magnesium roof, bucket seats from the 918 Spyder, carbon-fibre inserts, standard Club Sport package and rear-axle steering.
