Porsche 997 GT2

Introduced for the 2008 model year, the 997-generation 911 GT2 was at the time the most powerful Porsche 911 the world had ever seen, offering 530 horsepower, 50 hp more than the 997-generation 911 Turbo upon which it was based. The sprint from a standstill to 100 km/h could be achieved in less than four seconds, leading onwards to a top speed of 200 mph. These performance credentials meant that the 997 GT2 was, at the time of its introduction, the fastest street-legal 911 ever produced.

Completed in March 2008, this particular example was built to GCC specifications and imported to Dubai in 2011, where it resides today. It was finished in Ruby Red Metallic, one of seven special exterior colours offered on the 997-generation GT2; the car’s exterior colour plays a central theme in its configuration, as it also sports colour-matched wheels, painted sill covers, painted centre console, painted seat backrests on the optional adaptive sport seats, and seatbelts and instrument dials in Guards Red. Other options include the Sport Chrono package, cruise control, Homelink garage door opener, Bose sound system, and PCM satellite navigation.
