1976 Porsche 911 2.7 Coupe 

A stunning, low mileage 2.7 911 Coupe from 1976, presented in the rare, original colour combo of Ice Green Metallic paint with Black leather interior & chrome trim. A matching numbers example, confirmed by Porsche certificate of authenticity. The car was subject to some major restoration work by RS911 in 2013. This included a complete strip down with any rust taken care of, new front wings & rear quarter, new kidney bowls, bare metal repaint in its original colour & reassembly with numerous new parts. The paintwork is still immaculate & the colour really stands out, especially in the sun. The front seats have been re-trimmed in black leather by Southbound trimmers & look fantastic, as does the new black head lining. As part of the restoration process the car also recently received work carried out by Porsche specialists SVP who fitted SS heat exchangers, SS Danks exhaust, SS pre silencer, new clutch, new fuel tank, discs & pads, high pressure fuel pump & more. Invoices for work carried out in recent years totalling over £34,000. The original 15″ Fuchs are in great shape and have matching Pirelli Tyres all round. The car started life with the Sportomatic gearbox, this was removed and replaced with a more practical 5 speed 915 manual box many years ago. This manual gearbox was recently overhauled & completely rebuilt by Francis Tuthills. The car starts easily, runs well & is great fun to drive, with everything working as it should including the electric windows & electric sunroof. A large folder of service history is present dating back to 1988. The Porsche COA confirms the matching numbers & original colour. The car also benefits from a Nardi Turino steering wheel, a brand new jack, 2 keys & a VDO head unit allowing playback of MP3’s and bluetooth for hands free calls.
