1980 Porsche 911 SC Targa

3.0 Manual, Continental Orange, 118K Miles, A beautifully finished and very usable example of the classic air-cooled 911 Targa. This 1980 SC has covered 118,000 miles and comes with a full service history. The car underwent a major body restoration and repaint in 2017 by RS Automotive and was finished in the striking period Porsche colour of Continental Orange. The work was completed to a high standard & included a full glass-out strip down, rust repairs to all the usual problem areas, and then a high-quality repaint that still presents superbly today.

The interior was fully retrimmed in quality black leather with new carpets and a refurbished Targa top to complete the look. The car has been continually maintained and improved with a new clutch fitted by DSD Motorwerks as well as new shocks, front and rear brake discs and pads, and a new fuel pump, lowered suspension and full geo set up carried out by Jaz Porsche who have also serviced the car. The 3.0-litre flat-six engine starts instantly, pulls strongly, and shows no oil leaks. It’s fitted with SSI stainless steel heat exchangers and a Dansk sports exhaust, giving the car a great sound and character on the road. The original 16 inch Fuchs wheels have been refurbished and fitted with premium Pirelli tyres. Overall this is a solid, well restored and nicely detailed 911 SC Targa finished to a high standard in a rare and striking colour.
