History: The 924 Carrera GT, produced in 406 units, was designed based on the 924 Turbo but with many redesigned elements: widened fenders, Fuchs wheels, upholstery, hood… Compared to a simple Turbo version, the technical difference is significant with, among others, the addition of an intercooler, reinforced pistons, a differently calibrated turbo, etc. This example is a genuine Carrera GT, originally French, delivered new in 1981. It stayed in the same family until 2014. The second owner then purchased it. So, it is a second-hand car. An appraisal was done on the car in 2019, highlighting its very good overall condition.

Condition:

The bodywork and paint are in very good condition. The car received a full paint job in its original color in 2011. We note some minor imperfections, which do not affect the very good overall appearance of this Carrera GT.

Very nice interior presentation. Bucket seats had been installed by the previous owner, hence the very good condition of the original seats, which have now been reinstalled. The original steering wheel will be supplied with the sale. All gauges and dashboard instruments are functional.

Very good mechanical condition. The timing belt was replaced during the overhaul of the top engine. This was also an opportunity to check for cracks on the exhaust manifold and to service the original turbo.

The car is very sound and behaves very well on the roads.

The underbody is protected and shows no signs of corrosion.

The stainless steel custom exhaust line provides a better sound.

The battery is recent.
