The exceptionally high-revving engine produces 381 hp at 7,600 rpm from a displacement of 3.6 liters. The maximum speed of 385 NM is reached at 8,400 rpm. Thanks to a close-ratio six-speed gearbox with a single-mass flywheel and the 20 kilogram reduction in vehicle weight, the engine revs up even more spontaneously, enabling the 911 GT3 RS to sprint from a standstill to 100 kilometers per hour in 4.5 seconds. The top speed is 306 kph.
As Porsche's RS homologation vehicles have always been developed for the sporty clientele, the most valuable examples today are those that have not been used on the racetracks by more or less experienced drivers. As the number of 996 GT3 RSs produced was already very low at just 632, there are very few vehicles that remain in a collectible condition today.
This is one of these rare examples: On 05.02.2004, this RS was delivered in Würzburg via the Porsche Center and registered to the first owner. Since the only change of ownership in 2012, the car has been owned by the second owner.
Like the original RS 2.7 Carrera, this 996 GT3 RS is finished in the classic white/red variant. Based on our paint layer measurement, the measurable body parts are still completely on the values of the original paint ex works. As no subsequent or additional paintwork could be detected, it can be assumed that this is a vehicle in its original paintwork.
The very low mileage of just 9,705 kilometers and the complete ownership history of the two owners make this car highly collectible. This 996 GT3 RS Clubsport is like a top athlete that has not yet been let off the leash.
Useful extras: In addition to the standard equipment, air conditioning, xenon lights are among the additional special options selected ex works.
A rarely beautiful sight: With just 632 vehicles, the 996 GT3 RS was the GT model of the entire 911 series with the lowest production figure.
Both vehicle registration documents and the complete service invoices are available. The car also contains the complete on-board folder with the original checkbook, the tool and key set. Despite the very low mileage, the car has been regularly and exclusively serviced by Porsche Centers, as well as professionally moved and stored.
This 996 GT3 RS Clubsport is as close as possible to its mint condition, starting with the complete ownership history from 2nd hand and the very low mileage from German delivery, as well as the completely preserved first paint without any recognizable race track use. This example represents a rare opportunity for collectors looking for the highest level of quality to secure what is probably one of the most attractive and best remaining vehicles on the market.
