A note for attentive Porsche connoisseurs.
This is an original 1978 model year 3.0SC that was already sold at the end of 1977 and therefore has a 1977 registration date.
Since the Title in the U.S. does not list a first registration date but only a year, the RDW always assigns a first registration date of 02/28 upon registration in the Netherlands for imports from the U.S. This is fictitious, as this car originally hit the road sometime in late 1977. For the Netherlands, this has the advantage that the car has been assigned a historic license plate and is permitted to drive with blue plates instead of yellow ones with a new registration sequence.
