In 2017—before I took ownership—the engine underwent a comprehensive overhaul at 9elfer Competition in Neuried (Hohenlohe-Langenburg), a shop with an excellent reputation in the southern German 911 community. Replaced parts included piston rings, connecting rod and main bearings, timing chain, chain tensioner, heat exchanger, rear muffler, and various gaskets. Fully documented with invoices. Approximately 17,000 km driven since then.

The 3.0-liter boxer engine (approx. 205 PS, without catalytic converter) starts cleanly whether cold or warm and delivers smooth power across the entire RPM range. It’s paired with an SSI stainless steel exhaust system featuring a sport muffler—a robust sound, suitable for long-distance driving, and noticeably better than the stock system. The 5-speed transmission shifts precisely.

Condition

Body, mechanical components, and undercarriage are in very good, well-maintained condition. Classic car appraisal from 2026, condition grade 2, accident-free. Interior features age-appropriate patina and honest signs of use—not a heavily restored show car, but a classic that’s meant to be driven.
