HCC is pleased to offer this 911T, Chassis 9110101851, a US-market example that completed production in June 1970 and currently reads 4,476 miles on the odometer. Specified in Signal Orange (14) over a Black Leatherette (11) interior, this 911T was factory equipped with US equipment, Left Antenna w/ Loudspeaker & Noise Suppression, Comfort Equipment, all-around tinted glass, and Light Metal Wheels. The car is powered by a 2.2-liter air-cooled flat-six engine paired with a 5-Speed manual transmission.

Introduced for the 1970 model year, the 911T benefited from Porsche’s 2.2-liter flat-six engine that offered more power and torque than the earlier 2.0-liter engines. The model benefited from production updates implemented by Porsche, including a longer wheelbase and Fuchs alloy wheels.

Purchased by the current consignor in October 2020 as a fully restored, numbers-matching California example, this 911T has since benefited from extensive mechanical sorting and continued maintenance. Over the course of current ownership, the car has been entrusted to Classic Performance & Repair in Wylie, Texas, with routine servicing also performed by Porsche Service Center McKinney.

Work performed during current ownership includes a comprehensive engine top-end rebuild, engine reseal, installation of WebCam 911 “E” camshafts, JE Pistons and Cylinders, Permatune Gen 6 electronic ignition system, K&N air cleaner system, replacement intake and exhaust valve springs, timing chain tensioner service, and fuel system repairs. The installed Italian Weber IDTP carburetors were rebuilt by Mike Pierce and tuned by Paul Abbott. Other work has included front suspension corrections, alternator repairs, Tru6 restored chrome trim, oil tank replacement, and continued routine maintenance. The wheels were also upgraded to refurbished Fuchs.

Inside, the cabin is trimmed in Black Leatherette with black seatbelts. During current ownership, a period-correct Blaupunkt Frankfurt radio, new door latch hardware, and custom black-and-orange Coco floor mats have been installed.

This 911T is now being offered from local enthusiast ownership with comprehensive service records from the consignor’s six year ownership, booklet with media from the restoration, and keys.
