This car’s time in its home country was brief, however. Per a CARFAX report detailing its ownership history in the United States, a state title was issued in Texas come December 1983 before the 911 Turbo resided in California from March 1986. Come the early 2010s, the Porsche had returned to Texas, where M & Auto Repair of Belton replaced the gearshift coupling and bushings plus the alternator belt in January 2014 at a cost of $1,163.

Exported back across the Atlantic Ocean shortly after, the car joined The Willy Michiels Collection in February 2016 when it was purchased via Thyla Classics in Eke, Belgium. The Porsche notably retains its matching-numbers 3.3-litre turbocharged flat-six engine and four-speed manual transmission, as confirmed by the supporting Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. An owner’s manual and spare wheel are also offered as part of the sale. From the car’s time in the USA, the instruments read in miles. Accordingly, the odometer displayed 45,518 miles at the time of cataloguing.
