Upon the release of Porsche’s 959 supercar, it was clear the rest of the marque’s models were due for a refresh (the rest of the world took notice as well). Three-point safety belts and a third brake lamp were later accompanied by airbags, though the first-year 964s went without. To showcase the new car’s technological advancements, the first 964s were the new Carrera 4 all wheel drive model.
