This 964 Carrera 4 Coupé, featuring a unique configuration, left the factory in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen in September 1991. It was then delivered in January 1992 to its first owner—the proprietor of a Berlin fashion boutique—by the Porsche Center Berlin. In 1997, the Carrera 4 was sold through the Porsche Center Berlin to its second owner—also in Berlin—who cherished and maintained the vehicle until 2025. Since 2025, the Carrera 4 has been part of a private Porsche collection.
There is outstanding documentation covering the entire life of the vehicle. In addition to the original service booklet and original brochures for the vehicle, the vehicle file also includes over 140 pages of receipts, invoices, and maintenance records. Ninety-five percent of these originate from the Porsche Center Berlin. We have never before come across a 964 that is this well-documented.
Hardly any model change brought as many technical innovations for 911 enthusiasts as the transition from the 3.2 Carrera G model to the 964.
For the first time, the 911 could be ordered with power steering, ABS, airbags, an automatic transmission, or even as a Carrera 4 with all-wheel drive. All-wheel drive, in particular, was a truly rare feature among sports cars available on the market in the early 1990s, even across brands.
Previously, in the 1980s, Porsche had driven the development of all-wheel drive primarily through motorsports, particularly in the context of rally and high-performance programs centered on Group B. The technological showcase of these efforts was the Porsche 959, which set new standards with its electronically controlled, variable all-wheel-drive system and demonstrated its capabilities both on the road and at events such as the Paris-Dakar Rally. The insights gained there were ultimately incorporated into production development and culminated in 1989 with the introduction of the Porsche 911 (964) Carrera 4, the first production 911 with permanent all-wheel drive, which made motorsport technology suitable for everyday use and represented an important step in the evolution of the model series.
Today, just as back then, the Carrera 4 impresses with its tremendous traction and driving stability, making it an excellent choice for anyone who values everyday practicality and high performance regardless of weather conditions.

VISUAL CONDITION & PAINT THICKNESS
The overall visual condition, as well as the condition of the finish, can be described as consistently good. The entire interior is still in its original condition with a slight patina consistent with the vehicle’s age and mileage. Externally, the car is also in its unmodified original condition with the original 17-inch CUP wheels.
The vehicle was repainted once in the original Amethyst Metallic color for cosmetic reasons while still owned by the first owner (i.e., prior to 1997). The paint film thicknesses vary between 167 µm and a maximum of 402 µm. With a total of 51 measurement points, the average paint film thickness across the entire vehicle was 230 µm. A detailed, up-to-date paint film thickness report is available. The paint finish is good, with only isolated stone chips on the front of the vehicle.
