A Porsche 911—especially one from the 991 generation—is a rarity when it came equipped with a manual transmission. While the PDK made its debut in the second generation of the 997, it became standard on the 991. However, Porsche did not forget the purists and also offered it with a manual transmission at the time. This did not go unnoticed, as this transmission featured no fewer than seven gears, making it the first production car to be equipped with such a setup. A nice detail is that the 911 already reaches its top speed in sixth gear. The seventh gear therefore serves primarily as an overdrive. A unique story and an absolute rarity.
This is the Carrera with the naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six boxer engine. With 349pk, the 911 delivers impressive performance. Provided you’ve mastered the shifting and are aware that it’s rear-wheel drive only, you can sprint from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 287 km/h. It’s no walk in the park, but fun is guaranteed.
The Porsche 991 is beautifully finished in deep black paint—Schwarz—combined with a black leather interior. While not original, the black-coated original wheels and the dual exhaust tips complement the car’s appearance perfectly. The interior features black leather upholstery, a black Alcantara headliner, and aluminum trim. A tasteful combination.
In terms of equipment, this 911 is well-equipped. The Porsche comes with the PCM multimedia system, a BOSE audio system, cruise control, bi-xenon headlights with PDLS+ adaptive lighting, and, of course, the Sport Chrono Package with its famous clock on the dashboard. The seats are 14-way power-adjustable, feature a driver’s memory function, and, of course, are equipped with seat heating. The steering wheel is also power-adjustable. The sliding/tilting sunroof is power-operated.
The Porsche 911 was originally delivered in the United States. Porsche dealer Monterey Seaside is a well-known and long-established Porsche dealer. They delivered the car to its first and only owner on November 3, 2013. The car was subsequently serviced faithfully and on schedule by the same Porsche dealer. In 2022, the car was transferred to its second owner in Germany, and then to its third owner in the Netherlands in 2025. The service booklet provides a complete record of the maintenance history. All service visits are neatly recorded. In addition to the maintenance performed in the U.S., the three German service visits are also clearly documented. The last service was on July 6, 2025, at 88,998 km.
