This beautiful 993 Carrera 4 was imported to Finland by a local Porsche Centre in 2008 and has been very well maintained. It underwent a major overhaul in 2022, and the paintwork was refreshed at the same time. The car presents in very nice, original condition.

Produced between 1995 and 1998, the Porsche 993 Carrera 4 combined the iconic air-cooled 911 driving experience with a refined all-wheel-drive system and a 6-speed manual transmission. Powered by the naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six, the Carrera 4 delivered strong performance together with improved stability and usability in all driving conditions.
For the 993 generation, Porsche extensively revised the AWD system compared to the earlier 964 Carrera 4, introducing a lighter and smoother viscous coupling setup that greatly improved driving feel while reducing weight and drivetrain losses. The model could be distinguished from the rear-wheel-drive Carrera by details such as titanium-finished brake calipers and clear indicator lenses.
The 993 generation is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful and desirable air-cooled 911s ever produced. With its timeless design, improved suspension, and everyday usability, the Carrera 4 offers a perfect balance between classic Porsche character and modern drivability.
Our car started its life in Italy in February 1995. In October 2008, the car was imported to Finland by the local Porsche Center, Autocarrera, and it has been well cared for with all servicing carried out by Porsche or Porsche specialists. In 2021, the car underwent an inspection and a larger overhaul at Porsche Center Tallinn, with many parts replaced, including a new flywheel, clutch, rear control arms, and several other components. In Finland, the car has also received a repaint refresh, which still presents very nicely today.
When imported to Finland by the local Porsche Center, the car received a new service book, which has been regularly stamped with all services from March 2009 onward. The latest service was completed in May 2026 by Porsche specialist Lindqvist. It has also just received a fresh set of tyres.
The car remains in a nice original condition. The engine runs very well, gear shifts are smooth, the synchromesh operates seamlessly in all gears, and the clutch still has plenty of life left. The sound system has been tastefully updated with a stylish Pioneer DEH-80PRS head unit with Bluetooth and upgraded speakers.
The Polar Silver exterior pairs beautifully with the black leather interior, making this a true classic and one of the last air-cooled 911s of its kind.
