A very unique car from Porsches Exclusive Department, as this car is to our knowledge the second ever 996 GT3 CS Mk2 that rolled out from Weissach. The first production model was a speed yellow car seen in many media brochures of the time.
This unique car has a TÛV registration exempt as it was produced before AUG 2003, when the production of the 2004 models started. Car has Certificate of Authenticity by Porsche Ag and Classic Data report.
Finished in striking Indian Red, the car presents in exceptional condition throughout. The factory Aero Cup package perfectly complements both the appearance and performance credentials of the GT3, while the interior remains beautifully preserved. Exclusive colour-matched seat belts provide a subtle but distinctive finishing touch. The original 18-inch GT3 wheels are in outstanding condition and are fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres, complemented by Michelin Track Connect sensors for tyre pressure and temperature monitoring.
The specification is equally impressive and includes the desirable Clubsport package with factory roll cage, Aero Cup kit, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (with an additional set of steel brakes included), limited-slip differential, air conditioning, xenon headlights, cruise control, power windows, electrically adjustable mirrors, fog lights, a fantastic sounding exhaust system from DW Technik (the original is also included), and the original tool kit.
Accident-free and exceptionally well preserved, this GT3 Clubsport combines outstanding originality, early-production significance, and an exceptional factory specification. Imported from Germany by the current owner, who is a Porsche collector in 2014, it represents a rare opportunity to acquire one of the most distinctive and collectible examples of the iconic 996.2 GT3.
About the 996.2 GT3 Clubsport
The Porsche 911 GT3 (996.2) represents one of the purest and most engaging driver’s cars of the modern era. Developed by Porsche’s Motorsport division in Weissach, it combines the legendary Mezger-derived 3.6-litre naturally aspirated flat-six with a lightweight, track-focused chassis and a six-speed manual gearbox. With 381 horsepower, an 8,200 rpm redline, and a top speed of 306 km/h (190 mph), the GT3 Clubsport delivers a level of precision and involvement rarely found in road-legal cars.
The Clubsport package elevates the experience further with factory-installed bucket seats, a bolt-in roll cage, six-point harness, and fire extinguisher, creating a direct link between road and race car. Benefiting from significant upgrades over the earlier 996.1 GT3—including increased power, larger six-piston brakes, revised aerodynamics, lighter wheels, and a more focused chassis setup—the 996.2 is widely regarded as the definitive version of the first-generation GT3. Today, it stands as one of the most sought-after modern classics from Porsche’s golden era of analogue performance.
