The Porsche 996 GT3 RS marks the return of the legendary RS designation to the water-cooled 911 generation and is now considered one of the most important GT models in modern Porsche history. Developed as an uncompromising road-going version of Porsche’s motorsports program, it combines rigorous lightweight construction, racing technology, and a driving experience that is considered exceptionally direct and unfiltered even by today’s standards.
Compared to the already purist GT3, the RS was further refined through numerous measures. A carbon-fiber hood and trunk lid, a polycarbonate rear window, and other lightweight components reduced weight and ensured even more precise handling. The 3.6-liter naturally aspirated engine, derived from motorsports and producing 381 PS, is still considered one of the most characterful powertrains ever installed in a street-legal 911.
The example presented here was delivered to Essen in 2004 to its sole registered owner to date. The first owner chose the iconic color combination of Carrara White with blue livery—the look that makes the 996 GT3 RS unmistakable to this day. From the very beginning, the vehicle has been in the hands of just one registered owner, ensuring an exceptionally clear and unbroken history.
With an original mileage of just 7,861 kilometers, this GT3 RS is among the lowest-mileage examples in existence. It is also noteworthy that, according to available information, the vehicle has never been used on racetracks—an absolute rarity for a model that was originally developed precisely for this purpose.
The complete service and ownership history documents the meticulous care the vehicle has received throughout its entire lifespan. The car retains its original paint and is, accordingly, accident-free. Additionally, it features the factory-ordered Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB), a rarely selected and highly sought-after optional feature that further underscores the exclusive character of this RS.
The documentation includes not only the new-car order form but also the order confirmation, the new-car invoice, all service invoices, and all TÜV reports. Even the photo in a Porsche folder—which buyers received upon factory pickup—is included.
The exceptional condition, minimal mileage, comprehensive documentation, single-owner history, German first registration, and complete originality make this 996 GT3 RS a vehicle of special significance. Comparable examples are virtually nonexistent.
