The vehicle in detail

BACKGROUND:

The 997.2 Carrera GTS is widely considered the sweet spot of the 997 range and one of the last great naturally aspirated 911s. Porsche took the Carrera S, fitted the X51 power kit to lift the 3.8-litre flat-six to 408 hp, added the wider Carrera 4 body for a more planted stance, and made the SportDesign styling part of the package. The result is an iconic 997 with a naturally aspirated lump, something that won’t be produced ever again.

The direct-injection MA1/01 3.8l flat-six delivers 408 hp and 420 Nm. In this car it is paired with the 7-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox (type CG1.00), good for 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 304km/h.

ABOUT THIS CAR:

This GTS was delivered on 5 April 2011 through Porsche Zentrum München (C00). It is finished in Black (L041) over the rare Terracotta special leather (MB). This exotic shade of leather extends to the door panels, dashboard, airbag module, Sport Design steering wheel, and of course the heated sports seats. This gives a very “chic” and exclusive cabin atmosphere you will never find on the usual black-on-black cars.

Mechanically, it carries all the options too: the 40% limited-slip differential (220), sport chassis lowered by 20mm (030), Porsche Sport Exhaust with valves (176), and the Sport/Sport Plus driving modes. The 90-litre tank (082) and PDLS headlights are also perfect for cross-continent Grand Touring. Outside, the SportDesign kit (XAS), silver GTS side decor (514), stainless steel door sills (X70), and very rare 19-inch Carrera Sport wheels (XRR) give this car a look that is just pure 911: a smooth, wide and aggressive silhouette.

The service booklet shows Porsche Zentrum stamps through its life. Most recently, it was serviced at Porsche in June 2026 along with brand new Michelin Pilot Sport tires, so it’s fully sorted for the next owner to drive many happy miles.
