The new car’s 3,746 cc engine, with large valves and variable length intake manifold Varioram, was equipped with a remapped Bosch Motronic engine management system and produced 300 bhp. All 993 RSs have a special six-speed transmission (higher ratios on the first three gears) with a «shorter» shift and large (322 mm front and rear, ventilated and perforated) four-piston calipers on the 993 Turbo.
