This US-spec 911 was sold new from Schilling Porsche in Memphis TN to a Canadian purchaser, who road-tripped the car back home to Ontario where its remained since.  The original owner kept the car for 10 years and added about 16k miles before selling to a friend in 1998, who added another ~6k miles before selling in 2005 to a friend of the original owner; an enthusiast and PCA member who has owned the car since.   The car has been driven annually but sparingly, only in fair weather, and regularly maintained between a few reputable Porsche specialists.    Factory options on this particular car include its ‘special leather’ 2-tone interior, an electric sunroof, 16” wheels, Blaupunkt Reno radio, cruise control, an alarm system, central locking, as well as a dealer-installed (documented) retrofit of the front and rear spoiler package when the car was new.

The G50-series 911 Carrera was only produced for a short 3-year model run (’87-’89), further enhancing the drivability of the mid-80’s 3.2 Carrera by upgrading to a more modern, more usable ‘G50’ 5-speed transmission.  These G50 cars represent the very end of the original impact bumper series of 911, which began in 1974.

The exterior of this 911 is in exceptional condition for its age, with only a couple minor nicks or chips present.  Every panel has been paint metered and reads consistent with its original single stage finish.  The interior is in great shape with a great air-cooled 911 smell.  Interior wear is limited to minor seat wear and some patina on interior touch points.  The original radio is intact and functional!   Pre-purchase inspections are welcomed and encouraged.

The sale will include a binder of history/documentation dating back to the original window sticker and purchase order, as well as 2 keys, the original tool kit, compressor, owners manual package, a clean CarFax report, and a valid Ontario safety for Ontario buyers.  Leasing available, trade-ins considered.  Enclosed transport available nationwide.  All vehicles remain available for purchase until a deposit and signed purchase agreement have been submitted.
