The Targa version of the 997 inherits the glass roof system that inaugurated the 993. Other distinctive signs of the model are the silver molding, which runs along the entire roof line, and also the opening rear window, which allows luggage to be easily loaded into the rear. The Targa in the 997 were only available with 4-wheel drive and in this phase two of the model, the red stripe that joins both rear lights was recovered. Today, its low production gives it a lot of exclusivity.
