Very beautiful and correct 911 Classic Targa for sale, with the desirable and rare “Oëlklappe” only made in 1972.

This is the 2.4T/E version with the MFI injection from 1972. This USA delivered car has been completely restored about 10 years ago. The last owners had the car for 10 years and used it regularly for touristic rally’s. The car is matching colour and matching numbers. The car comes with a complete “Classic Car Check” from official Porsche Centre and is in excellent condition.

1972 Targa:

This is one of the most desirable and rare Classic 911 Targa’s. The 2.4 engine is the last and best evolution of the F model engines and the 1972 “Oëlklappe” model is iconic because they made it only for 1 year. The 1972 model comes also with lots of improvements compared with the former 2.2 and 2.0 versions.

History:

This car is delivered in 1972 in USA as a 911 targa 2.4 T/E.

This ‘matching numbers’ 911 Classic Targa has been completely restored 10 years ago. Then it was sold by a Porsche Classic specialist on an international classic car fair to the last and only Belgian owners that kept this car in their collection since 10 years.

The car has been very well maintained and lots of invoices are available from the last 10 years.

We have also an original map and owner’s manual for this car, and slo the spare wheel, tool kit etc.

Engine:

We have invoices for more than 50.000€ spent on the engine and mechanics.
The engine got a complete and professional revision 18.000km ago. Also the MFI injection is changed to a new and professional Electronic Fuel Injection system.
(old MFi is with the car).

After the revision the car develops 156hp on the Dyno testbank. (report available)

The car runs and drives perfect and got a complete “Porsche Classic” check at Porsche Centre Antwerpen.

We will deliver this 911 with a fresh service!

Interior:

The car has a complete 1972 original interior and comes with recaro seats with the iconic “Pepita/Leather” combination.

The original leather steering wheel is in very good condition and the dashbord is in black full leather.

Body:

The body is in perfect condition, except from some very minor (alsmost invisible) stonechips from the last 10 years after the restoration the paint is in very good condition.

No dents or damages on the car.

Original ‘Light Ivory’ is the colour of the car and presents very well with the original green tinted windows and the Pepita white/black interior.

The body is complete rust-free.

The targa top is in very good condition and fits perfect.

The 15″ fuchs wheels are in good condition.

The chrome is in very good condition.

Extra:

The car has no radio but a navigation system and a digital tripmaster for touristic rally’s (Radio can be easily installed by a professional)

Porsche Classic Check:

The car has been recently inspected by official Porsche centre and comes with a complete Porsche Classic report.
