In its first year of life, it had a 3.0 engine that delivered 180hp. After two years, in 1980, the power was increased to 188hp, to finally deliver 204hp from 1981. As for body types, it was available with a Coupé and Targa body and in 1983 the Cabriolet version appeared, becoming the first 911 with this type of body.
