The RS America was released in limited quantities for the 1993 model year to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of the original 1973 2.7 Carrera RS.   Described as a “competition version” 911, the RSA came with larger wheels/tires, larger sway bars, stiffer suspension, deletion of power steering, deletion of rear seats, a lightweight interior, and a standard whaletail spoiler.  The priority was lightness, simplicity, ‘ultra-sporting handling’, and driver involvement – the enthusiasts 911.  Only 4 options were available (AC, radio, sunroof, and LSD) – this particular car has 3/4.   The RS America production run lasted only 2 years, with 1994 being the final year of both the RSA and of the 964 series.
This RSA ticks every box for a discerning enthusiast.  Desirable slick-top + LSD configuration, rare and tasteful colour choice, excellent history and documentation, low mileage (but not too low, the car still averaged 4k km/year of fair-weather driving, which is a great indication of regular use).   Inspected, serviced, and ready to be enjoyed.
