The vehicle in detail

What's more, the car has never been completely restored, the interior is untouched and has not been dismantled. Most of the unwelded bodywork is in its original paint, but because the hood and both front fenders were corroded, I decided to have them stripped in an immersion bath. The paint was then rebuilt. The entire drive train (engine and gearbox) was restored to as-new condition by Manfred Rugen, a specialist in classic Porsche racing engines who is recognized worldwide for his work. It has an aluminum crankcase (only 30 Porsche 911RS were ever delivered with it as these housings were actually only reserved for the 911 RSR racing car). In the course of the technical overhaul, the oil cooling system and the chassis were also repaired.
