Porsche 996 Turbo S Cabriolet – Manual (1/300)
Rare. Genuine. Road-ready.
I’m selling my Porsche 996 Turbo S Cabriolet with a manual transmission because I simply don’t have the time—and because I already own two other 911s.
This car isn’t a fake or a “Turbo S” decal gimmick—it’s a genuine factory-spec Turbo S— not a standard 996 Turbo with WLS, which is unfortunately often mistakenly advertised as a Turbo S.
German-spec vehicle—not a U.S. import
The Turbo S Cabriolet is extremely rare —and even rarer than the 996 Turbo S Coupe. According to an article in Flat 6 Magazine (Issue 11/2021), only about 300 Cabr iolets were built (compared to 600 Coupes).
Manual —pure driving pleasure and virtually impossible to find today
Important: Not a collector’s item, but a driver’s car
While the genuine 996 Turbo S is extremely rare, this convertible is neither a garage queen nor an overpriced “show-and-tell” collector’s car.
It’s an authentic, now-rare 996 that’s built exactly for what Porsche intended: driving, enjoying the ride, and having fun.
The price is therefore set realistically and already reflects the mileage and the large number of previous owners.

Turbo S technology—many GT2 parts straight from the factory
An important point about the Turbo S: Porsche used numerous components from the GT2 in the Turbo S because they are designed to be even more durable and of higher quality.
Differences from the standard 996 Turbo include:
• Oil pump (GT2)
• Turbocharger (GT2)
• Intercooler (GT2)
• Higher-quality bearings
• Shot-peened crankshaft assembly
• Optimized underbody airflow

Conclusion

If you’re looking for a very rare Turbo S but don’t want to pay “collector’s bubble prices,” this is a very strong overall package:
rare—authentic—road-ready—with a documented history and prior investments.
