VEHICLE HISTORY
This 968 CS dates from the series’ final model year, 1995, and began its life as a Porsche AG company car. It has remained in Germany throughout its entire life and has always been well maintained. In addition to the original service booklet, there are various maintenance invoices dating back to 2001. The first registration certificate is also available. The vehicle’s history can thus be fully documented all the way back to its initial delivery.
CONDITION
Visually and mechanically, this CS is certainly in above-average condition. The paint finish is in good condition; roughly half of the body panels still have their original paint. Across 45 measurement points, the vehicle has an average paint layer thickness of 206 µ. The repainting was therefore professionally done, with no noticeable color differences. There are no signs of rust or accident damage; the screws on the front fenders have never been loosened, etc.
The interior is in very good condition. The upholstery shows no wear, the dashboard is free of cracks, the interior is odor-free, and very well-maintained. The car is currently equipped with the latest PCCM navigation system featuring Apple CarPlay; an original radio is included in the offer.
Mechanically, this CS has benefited from extensive maintenance investments over the past 3 years. All major issues have been addressed, and the vehicle currently has no outstanding maintenance backlog or other urgent needs. All work is documented with invoices.
Upon request, we will provide you with access to the digital vehicle file containing all receipts, documentation, the paint thickness report, additional photos, etc.
MODEL HISTORY & PRODUCTION NUMBERS
The Porsche 968 CS (Clubsport) was introduced in 1993 as a variant of the 968 designed exclusively for sportiness. By omitting comfort and safety features and implementing lightweight construction measures, it was approximately 50 kg lighter and featured, among other things, a stiffer suspension lowered by 20 mm and, in many cases, bucket seats. According to Porsche, a total of 1,538 units were produced; the final model year, 1995, saw the production of 278 CS models and also marked the end of production for the 968 series.
