The result is an early 1965 911 in pristine condition that is truly one of a kind. The vehicle was restored according to the principle that everything must be subordinated to the greatest possible degree of originality. Neither time nor cost were a factor.
Since then, the car has been preserved in immaculate condition and stored in a dry, dark garage as part of a small, exclusive collection.
A new TÜV/H inspection report has recently been issued, and new tires have been mounted on the original 15-inch Fuchs rims. The car is therefore ready to drive immediately. The Porsche certificate of origin confirms the correct color combination, the special equipment such as additional fog lights, and the matching numbers. It is therefore a vehicle with “matching numbers” and “matching colors.”
Conclusion: This is a driving piece of automotive history and a rare opportunity to acquire the first 1965 911 from Porsche in this condition. Due to its initial delivery in Germany in the unique color combination of Signal Red with a fawn-brown interior, its traceable history and documented restoration, as well as its matching numbers, this vehicle is suitable for an uncompromising collection. Anyone looking for an early 911 that embodies the highest degree of originality and serves as a benchmark in many respects has made the right choice here.
