By giving new life to a Porsche, it becomes the purest form of UPCYCLING – adding, upgrading, modifying and engineering further perfection into these cars. For this RS-7, the possible off-road driving experience and unique appearance are the main drivers behind the concept. Built on the last all-steel 911 chassis.
The RS-7 takes the best from the donor car but adds uniquely engineered features, and the result is something “the others don’t have” – ultimately a whole new level of performance and driver enjoyment.
This conversion aims to become the most versatile 911 ever made.
Most customers have cars specifically for different occasions. The RS-7 will be for the ultimate mountain experience, off-roading or an easy drive through town.
As Jan Kalmar highlights, “It must be possible to fix a safari car with a hammer and a welder when you are somewhere in the middle of nowhere, and many race teams running the newer versions have learned the nice stiff chassis cracks easily with even with relatively small impacts.”
