The vehicle in detail

Originally delivered in Germany, I am the second owner in Spain, having maintained it for 8 years. The previous owner executed major work on the chassis to eliminate oxidation and also on the engine, substituting standard studs with reinforced ones from the 993 generation, along with replacing bearings, piston pins, tuning the distribution, and changing the clutch disc.

During my ownership the following jobs and repairs where performed by porsche dealer and a specialized classic porsche workshop:

• chassis: shock absorbers (bisltein sport), arms, cups, suspension bearings as well as full suspension silent-blocks, all replaced. Updated with the turbo tie-rod for more precise handling.
• engine; new injectors, chain distribution tensioners updated to the 3.2 system (oil), new rotor, distributor cap and ignition coil, the warm up regulator unit was sent to Germany for refurbishment and has been perfectly tuned. Valves adjustement was completed.. Forward cooler thermostat housing and lines replaced, for a consitent temperature control.
• electrical; a brand-new alternator was installed this same year providing perfect voltage under all loads. Battery was relocated down in the trunk adjacent to the firewall to prevent frontal collision damage.
