With its currently installed and fully overhauled 2.4-liter six-cylinder boxer engine, the car delivers solid performance for a vehicle of this age.
Optionally, the accompanying, fully overhauled 2.2-liter engine and the matching transmission can be purchased (trade-in of the installed components is possible). Both components are matching numbers, matching the body.
In its most recent ownership, the Porsche was part of a private car collection but was driven regularly. Prior to that, the Targa had been in previous ownership for about 20 years.
To improve handling and comfort, the 2.4-liter engine with a matching transmission and more comfortable cloth seats were installed. Original seats in top condition can also be purchased as an option (trade-in of the installed seats is possible).
The engine and transmission operate flawlessly and have no technical defects.
