EXTERIOR

Few colours suit the character of this car quite as naturally as Miami Blue. Its rich, solid finish gives the familiar 911 shape a fresher and more individual appearance, while the satin black wheels, gloss black detailing and exposed carbon fibre provide just enough contrast without taking attention away from the body itself.

A shortened windscreen and sculpted double-bubble rear deck create its unmistakably low profile, looking particularly elegant with the roof folded away. Porsche carried the same careful thinking beneath the paintwork, using carbon fibre for the bonnet, front wings and rear deck to reduce weight while preserving the simplicity of the design. Full paint protection film covers the exterior, helping to safeguard the vivid blue finish and maintain its excellent presentation.

INTERIOR

Viewed beneath the shortened windscreen, the cockpit feels low, intimate and centred entirely around the driver. Black leather is punctuated by Racing Yellow stitching, matching seat belts and embroidered headrests, while carbon fibre detailing lends the cabin a subtle connection to Porsche’s competition machinery.

The heated 18-way Adaptive Sports Seats Plus are an unusual and highly desirable choice for this model, adding comfort without diluting its focused character. Directly ahead sits the central rev counter, with the manual gear lever falling neatly to hand alongside. The finishing touch is the numbered 70 Years Porsche plaque, confirming this example as number 0793 of the 1,948 produced.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION

True to form, Porsche retained the flat-six configuration that has defined the 911 since its introduction in 1963. Things have come a long way since then, and this latest interpretation displaces 4.0 litres, produces 503 bhp and revs to an extraordinary 9,000rpm, carrying the car to a top speed of 192mph.

Paired exclusively with a six-speed manual gearbox, it offers the involvement that defines Porsche’s most engaging road cars. With the roof lowered, the engine’s rising note becomes an even greater part of the experience.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES

Satin Black 20-inch centre-lock wheels sit neatly beneath the broad arches and remain in excellent condition, with no notable marks or scuffs. Fitted with Pirelli P Zero tyres, they retain an excellent level of tread.

The huge alloys both house Porsches Ceramic Composite Brakes with high gloss yellow painted callipers, giving unparalleled stopping power without any brake fade in even the toughest of conditions.
