One of only very few 997 Turbo S Coupe in the PTS color Eisblau Metallic.

The color was not seen officially, until it was painted on a couple of the Porsche AG press cars. These two cars were used for the Porsche launch of the new generation of the 911 Turbo S in 2010 (997.2). The cars carried the number plates S: GO 523 and S: GO 551. Typical Porsche number plates – S for Stuttgart, GO for Gesamt Öffentlichkeitsarbeit – an acronym for »total PR» – or in Porsche circles known as »Let’s Go». The following three numbers (today four) are then assigned in numerical order. Since then, the color is extremely rarely seen – we know of very few.

The 997 Turbo S Eisblau version seems to be only produced in a total of 7 or 8 units – via Porsche exclusive PTS program.

Exactly this car, had its first residence south of Münich, with a Porsche AG high-end client, with a background in water technology, so a frozen water color makes sense. And maybe that was the reason why they got the green light at the Porsche Exclusive abteilung to place the order on a Eisblau 997 Turbo S.

In late 2013, the car moved to Cologne, to the second owner. Eight years later, we find the car at Porsche Zentrum Essen and it currently lives with us in Copenhagen.

This is unique when it comes to color combinations and surely, Porsche 997 historical relevance and what matters ditto, is simply that a 997.2 Turbo S Coupe drives incredibly powerful without overplaying its analog spirit as one of the last beasts of its generation.

Its always difficult to say that a used car is like new, but in this case, we are getting close.
