All of the original parts are available and can be supplied with the car. The car is totally rust free and requires no body work, having been treated to remedial work in 2016 when any rust issues were taken care of (kidney bowls, sills, B pillars). The 915 with oil cooler gearbox was completely rebuilt just 2000 miles ago by Dave Lee of RPM, at the same time a new Sachs sports clutch and LSD was also fitted. The car also benefits from just having a £1,200 major service with Jaz Porsche in St Albans, where the cars suspension and four wheel alignment was also set up. A stack of MOT’s are present dating back to the late 80’s as well as a large folder of various invoices relating to servicing, parts and work carried out on the car over the years dating back to May 1986. Running on genuine Fuchs wheels which have silver centres to match the silver Carrera decals and new almost new Toyo tyres all round. The car starts on the button, sounds fantastic and drives beautifully. The reliability of this car has already been proven on recent European trips where the car has performed faultlessly.Unfortunately the car was subject to an insurance claim in 2007 due to a mild accident in which the O/S front wing and front slam panel was damaged, resulting in the car being noted as a category C. This was professionally repaired directly after the incident with a new wing being fitted and the car checked and repaired on a jig to ensure all was well. Photo evidence of the repairs are included as well as a valuation post damage negating the impact on price due to the quality of the repairs. Although its a shame to have this on the cars history, the current advertised price reflects this and the reality is that this is a superb little 3.2 with plenty yet to offer a new owner.
