The Porsche 968 is a true sports car, which is getting more and more attention from enthusiasts. The car was produced from 1992 to 1995 and was the successor to the Porsche 944. The 968 was Porsche’s last “sports coupe”, which the Porsche 924 started 20 years earlier. The engine was a further developed version of the Porsche 944, with four cylinders in line, 3 liters, 16 valves and 240 hp. By the way, this was one of Porsche’s first engines with the VarioCam system (variable valve timing). The 6-speed manual transmission fits this perfectly and provides a sporty driving pleasure.
This example was produced in 1993. In that year, a total of 3783 examples were produced. The total number of 968s ever produced comes to 12776 units, of which 4665 were exported to America and Canada. Der Porsche 968 ist ein echter Sportwagen, der mehr und mehr Aufmerksamkeit von Enthusiasten bekommt. Der Wagen wurde von 1992 bis 1995 produziert und war der Nachfolger des Porsche 944. Der 968 war Porsches letztes “Sportcoupé”, das 20 Jahre zuvor mit dem Porsche 924 begann. Der Motor war eine weiterentwickelte Version des Porsche 944, mit vier Zylindern in Reihe, 3 Litern, 16 Ventilen und 240 PS. Übrigens war dies einer der ersten Motoren von Porsche mit dem VarioCam-System (variable Ventilsteuerung). Das 6-Gang-Schaltgetriebe passt perfekt dazu und sorgt für ein sportliches Fahrvergnügen.
