This 1997 Porsche 911 (993) C4S Coupe, with a mere 33k documented miles on the odometer, is finished in non-metallic Black (L741) over a black leather interior. Owned by only two Southern California residents, this C4S has been maintained by the Porsche dealer since new. The most recent service, completed in January 2023, included an oil/filter change, timing cover gaskets replacement, and a ‘smog’ check. Excellence magazine described the 993 this way: “The 993 marked Porsche’s first major restyling of the 911 platform. The glossy black exterior of this C4S is complemented by staggered 18” Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires mounted on Turbo Twist wheels with colored center caps, speed activated rear spoiler, dual exhaust, retractable sunroof, driver/passenger color-matched mirrors, Litronic headlights, integrated fog lights molded into the front bumper, discreet rear bumperettes, and a reflective red panel spanning the rear taillights.

The classic black interior features 8-way adjustable pleated leather front seats and pleated leather rear seats, driver/passenger airbags, power-operated side windows and mirror adjustment, and black floor mats with bold red Porsche script. Aluminum trim contrasts beautifully with the black leather. This trim includes the instrument dials with chrome rings, shift knob, and parking brake lever. A Becker CDR210 AM/FM/Cassette audio system combine with multiple speakers to provide high fidelity entertainment.
This C4S is powered by a 3.6L air-cooled flat-six engine that produces up to 282 HP at 6300 RPM, and 250 lbs.-ft torque at 5250 RPM. Power is directed to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. Performance is reported to be 5.2 seconds from 0-60 MPH, with a top speed approaching 168 MPH. Legendary Porsche braking is accomplished via 4-piston calipers and ventilated discs.
