2000 Porsche (911) 996 Turbo for sale!

The Porsche 911 3.6 Turbo Manual transmission is a Porsche ahead of its time when it came out in 2000. The rock-solid 3.6 liter engine, whose lower block dates back to the 964 era, is indestructible and widely praised for its performance and durability. It is enormously strong and fast at 420 hp but can be driven tremendously “lazily,” it does not rush you like a GT3 would. Truly a Porsche to cover long distances ultra-fast. Always grip, thanks to its 4 wheel drive. Always braking, because of its huge disc brakes. The Turbo is already very complete as standard, which is why the option list is quite short. Bose, full leather, 18-inch Turbo wheels, it has it all as standard. At the time, they already cost almost 200,000 euros in the Netherlands so that’s saying something.

This 996 Turbo we received was originally delivered new in Germany and drove in Sweden for several years before coming to the Netherlands in 2015. A collector bought it to then not drive it, but put it away. At the end of 2022, we picked it up from its storage and prepared it completely for sale. Among other things, new tires, new brake discs and pads all around, wheels painted, new air condensers, rear spoiler mechanism overhauled, new fuel pump and a new clutch are all things that were renewed to bring it in top condition. It is obviously damage free and still looks like new. Is also not strange perhaps with only 40,000 km, but well, you also experience it differently. This is a time capsule almost 25 years old. Gee, how special that a Porsche can still look like this, drive like this and steer like this. What a treat this is. By now a car to cherish even for collectors, now that most of them have been driven out, they are becoming scarce.

With the retrofitted sports exhaust, this 996 Turbo also sounds absolutely amazing….
