2009 Porsche 911 Targa 4S (997.2) 6-Speed: With its distinctive, model-specific, flowing arch characterized by bright-finished trim, the Targa’s understatedly eye-catching concept allows for the enjoyment of the open-air whilst still retaining the 911’s signature coupe proportions that are further exaggerated by way of the rear’s iconic and intriguingly protruding widebody. Just before slipping inside of its invigoratingly inviting Special Leather Cocoa cabin, you’re first met by black door sills with brushed-look aluminum inlays featuring ‘Carrera 4S’ insignia and when inside you can expect to find light-colored twin-stitching and aluminum/brushed aluminum/metallic-coated surfacing on select areas with carpeting completed in Cocoa and sumptuous leather that extends onto the upper dashboard/door/rear wall regions as well as on the sun visors, seat backs and rear center console areas. The driver is faced with a leather-wrapped 3-spoke steering wheel completed in Cocoa; titanium-colored instrumentation dials; a centrally located dash-mounted SportChrono dial in titanium; 6.5-inch touchscreen navigation display; the super precise, 6-speed shifter. Front occupants are embraced by perforated Adaptive Sport seats featuring memory settings for the driver, an embossed Porsche Crest on each headrest and heating for both occupants and can expect in-cabin audio playback via the optioned BOSE Surround Sound System, featuring 12-speakers.
