Currently available at SportClasse, this beautiful 1992 Porsche 964 Carrera 4 represents the perfect intersection of classic air-cooled charm and modern drivability. The 964 generation revolutionized the 911 lineage, retaining the iconic upright headlights and timeless silhouette while radically updating the underpinnings with coil-spring suspension, power steering, and ABS. At the heart of this example is the robust naturally aspirated 3.6-liter M64 flat-six engine, delivering a highly responsive 250 horsepower.
What truly sets the Carrera 4 apart is its advanced all-wheel-drive system, featuring technology directly derived from the legendary Porsche 959 supercar. This sophisticated drivetrain provides phenomenal traction, surefooted cornering, and immense all-weather confidence, all without diluting the raw, visceral feel of a classic air-cooled 911. Being a later 1992 production model, it benefits from the factory refinements introduced during the 964’s lifecycle.
