This included new cases prepared by Autofarm, (windage, shotpinned etc), RSR oil pump, GT3 crank, Aesa valve springs, Pauter rods, custom rod bearings, stock pistons, valves, barrels, single mass flywheel, new clutch, and more. On top of the engine rebuild, the car has also seen new Bilstein PSS10 suspension, refurbished wheels and rebuilt callipers, new Pirelli P Zero tyres, new discs and pads, new bushes, drop links, steering arms, front to back oil pipes, light conversion, additional oil cooler, new turbos and associated pipes. Originally supplied in Dubai the car was purchased by a Scottish expat in 2003 who used the car while living in Qatar. The last owner has enjoyed the car while working in Qatar, so much so that he bought it back to the UK and has now registered it here. The car is now for sale due to lack of use and other projects taking priority. Although now mechanically sound the car does require some paint and interior improvements to reach its true value. The car is showing 35,000 kms but the clock was replaced at 34,000 so true mileage is around 70,000 Km, this was done at Porsche in Doha and is documented. There is a small area of rust at the edge of the rear screen, other than this the car seems very solid as you would expect living in a dry climate. The car has been painted previously and although generally looks good there are areas of paint that could be improved. The interior is now looking tired and would ideally benefit from a re trim. There is a large folder of invoices for servicing and work carried out going back to 2003 but nothing prior to this. With current MOT until June 2022 with no advisories the car can be enjoyed as is, or with a little investment carry out the work required and then enjoy this iconic 911 Turbo.
