2008 Porsche 997.2 Carrera S COUPÉ PDK

When we received this 997 we immediately became very enthusiastic. It is of course a wonderful combination, this Porsche 911 Carrera S with PDK, with no less than 385 hp, rear-wheel drive and a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox that does its job quickly and smoothly. And yes, it is equipped with all modern gadgets such as a touchscreen PCM system and Bluetooth telephone. It is also an original Dutch delivered copy with almost all available options, more about this later. But what makes this 997 so special? This 997 Carrera S received a new engine at Porsche Center Twente at 90,000 km, so this 911 block has just been broken in with over 30,000 km.

The last owner likes a sporty driving character and had the entire chassis optimized by GP Elite. It now has a Bilstein B4 adjustable shock absorber system, just like the original, but with sportier features. This makes it truly fantastic on the road, without being uncomfortable. The original wheels have made way for OZ Racing wheels. These are of top quality and are considerably lighter than the standard rims. You notice this when driving and they also look very cool. The Porsche sports exhaust can be switched on. The rear silencer has been replaced by an x-pipe, which the experts among us can certainly appreciate. Just a slightly fuller sound, of course not exaggerated.

As we already indicated, it is also very complete. It has the fully electrically adjustable sports seats with memory, seat heating, sports chrono package, switchable sports exhaust and a Bose sound system. From the outside, the rotating double-lens headlights are striking. The red brake calipers show that this is the 3.8 liter S version. Always neatly maintained at the Porsche dealer, exactly according to the prescribed maintenance schedule!

The ideal Porsche for a beautiful holiday through the Alps or getting some fresh air on a Sunday afternoon.
