This 1971 911 T is not a typical backdate—it is an update. Owned by the same owner for 15 years, this 1971 911 has not been restored, but rather consistently refined. The philosophy behind it: keep the lightweight, pure F-model as the base and refine it step by step into a full-fledged 2.7 RS replica—with significantly more engine power than the original RS ever had.
First, the paint. Gulf Blue—a choice that needs no explanation. Then there’s the overhauled SC suspension with 27-mm torsion bars in the rear and the 930 Turbo brake system all around: a combination that keeps the car stable and safe, even when the adrenaline levels rise. The overhauled 915 transmission with a WEVO shifter ensures precise, short gear changes.
The heart of the car is the engine: a 3.2-liter Carrera engine enlarged to 3.4 liters, with a top-end overhaul. Great responsiveness thanks to a hot film, a programmed DME chip, and an SSI manifold. The result: approximately 250 PS from an engine that, in the lightweight F-model body, delivers a completely different level of performance than in heavier vehicles. The sound of the Dansk exhaust system is no afterthought—it’s part of the package.
For the racetrack, additional 4-point harnesses are mounted to the roll bar, and 15-inch Toyo semi-slicks provide the necessary grip.
And for those who want to drive home comfortably after track day: the Deser bucket seats, modeled after historic designs, are more comfortable than their appearance suggests; the sunroof invites you to cruise; and the black needle-felt interior sets just the right tone. No roll cage, no Sparco overkill—a thoroughly well-thought-out vehicle and a real head-turner.
The transmission was recently overhauled, followed by a complete major service at the Lufti expert ELEVEN Munich, including a fresh TÜV inspection on the H-license plate. The electrical system has been completely overhauled, and the vehicle has been professionally detailed inside and out. This 911 lacks nothing—except a new owner.
