This 911, which rolled off the Porsche Stuttgart production line in 1981, was customized in our shop in a pure “Outlaw” style.
As with most of our projects, we started by upgrading the chassis, suspension, and braking system. We installed Bilstein Club Sport shocks mounted on offset BOGE struts, a complete set of Powerflex bushings, a front anti-roll bar, and drilled brake rotors paired with PAGID brake pads.
The wheels are the very first from the Group4wheels Campy’s production line in 17×8 and 17×9 sizes, fitted with Yokohama Advan Neova AD8R semi-slicks.
For the exterior, we chose IROC-style fiberglass bumpers, which we modified on both the front and rear. The front was fitted with a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) splitter-style lip to improve downforce at high speeds. The rear was cut out to make room for the exhaust outlets unique to this race car. The “Ducktail” spoiler has also undergone some unique modifications and received a custom-made aluminum vent grille. For the lighting, we selected Bi-LED headlights from Carbone for comfortable and high-performance night vision. The doors have been fitted with 964-style mirrors and perforated handles to reinforce the chosen aesthetic. The front hood, meanwhile, is covered in a satin black wrap to match the trunk.
The interior has also undergone some modifications. A Momo Prototipo steering wheel, Silverlake aluminum floor panels, a WEVO gearshift, Iconic Motors door panels, BF Torino bucket seats, Corbeau 3-point seatbelts, an Iconic Motors roll cage, and an MTX Bluetooth soundbar. The front trunk is fitted with a carbon-fiber carpet kit with stitching that matches the bodywork.
The 3.0-liter engine and 915-type transmission remain stock; only the air box and exhaust have been modified by us.
All the modifications give the car a unique identity and ensure reliable performance on both the road and the track.
