This 1992 964 Cabriolet was produced in July 1991 immediately after the factory holidays and subsequently delivered to the U.S. for the first time. There, the vehicle was driven in Hawaii until 2005, then in Oregon, and finally in Texas until 2010. The Cabriolet then returned to Germany with a mileage of just 43,877 mls / 70,203 km. Its entire history in the U.S. is documented by a complete CarFax report containing a total of 29 entries and absolutely no critical notes regarding prior damage or similar issues. The mileage during its time in the U.S. is also verifiable. From 2011 to 2017, this 964 convertible was owned by its first owner in Germany; since May 2017, the vehicle has been with its current owner.
We had the privilege of performing extensive maintenance work for the current owner in 2025 and 2026. A total of approximately 15 TEUR was invested in the vehicle’s mechanical systems, and an additional approx. 5 TEUR was spent on its exterior appearance.

VISUAL CONDITION, PAINT & BODYWORK
Both the interior and exterior of the vehicle are in very good condition, consistent with its low mileage.
Large sections of the exterior still have their original paint (front right and left fenders, trunk lid, right and left doors). Partial repainting (wind deflector, side panels, tailgate) was done to a very high standard, with no visible color differences and good paint film thicknesses. The paint film thicknesses across the entire vehicle range from 110 µ to 364 µ—based on a total of 39 measurement points, the vehicle has an average paint film thickness of 199 µ.
The roof also shows no visible defects, and its technical function is fully intact.
The interior is still in its original condition.
The vehicle shows no signs of accidents or rust.
Subtle modifications have been made to the vehicle:
- Original Fuchs rims
- KW V1 sport suspension
- Dashboard gauges redone with gray dials
- Steering wheel reupholstered with an Alcantara steering wheel rim
- Storage trays and trim panels in the center console in gray
- Modern VDO radio installed
